Built for Dutch and European law firms

Legal AI with the underlying material in plain view.

LexVera brings research, matter documents, drafting, and firm knowledge into one workspace. Lawyers can trace the material behind an answer, understand its assumptions, and decide what is ready to use.

Apply legal judgment. Check the analysis for gaps, assumptions, and next steps before relying on it or sharing it.

How LexVera supports the work

A clear path from legal question to a draft your team can verify.

Each stage remains visible, so a colleague can understand how the answer was reached and what still needs attention.

  1. Define the assignment

Specify the jurisdiction, relevant facts, documents, and the form of advice or draft required.

  2. Gather the relevant material

Bring the authorities and document passages that bear on the issue into the same workspace.

  3. Complete the legal review

Check the analysis against the available material, resolve open points, and determine the appropriate next step.

Professional safeguards

Professional responsibility remains with the lawyer.

LexVera supports the work without displacing lawyers’ duties to their clients, the courts, or their profession.

Verify the legal basis

Important propositions can be traced to an authority or matter document.

Research results show citations and relevant source context. Lawyers must still confirm that each source exists, is relevant and current, and supports the stated legal effect.

Protect matter information

Firms decide what information may be used, who may access it, and which matter rules apply.

Review the security and privacy documentation before approving LexVera for confidential work.

Set clear controls

Agree on permitted uses, responsible lawyers, and escalation points before extending access.

LexVera assists with preparation. The responsible lawyer retains control of the final work product and all advice and decisions communicated to clients.

Evaluate LexVera for your firm

LexVera’s role: LexVera supports legal work under professional supervision. It does not provide legal advice independently or replace the judgment of a qualified lawyer.

A practical first step

Start with one task your firm knows well.

Begin with a familiar, clearly defined assignment. That gives you a sound basis for judging accuracy, omissions, time saved, and the work still required from the responsible lawyer.

  1. Choose a suitable task

Select one task in research, document analysis, drafting, or knowledge retrieval. Define the outcome and name the lawyer responsible for checking it.

  2. Set the parameters

Agree the permitted data, matter scope, expected output, and who is responsible for approval.

  3. Assess the result

Compare the output with your usual standard, including source quality, gaps, review time, and overall usefulness.

Questions firms ask

What to establish before introducing legal AI.

Which legal workflows and jurisdictions does LexVera support?

LexVera combines legal research, document analysis, drafting support, and semantic search across uploaded material. It is developed for Dutch and European legal work, but available sources, jurisdictional coverage, and output format vary by workflow. We can tailor a demonstration to the task, sources, and jurisdiction that matter to your firm.

How can a lawyer verify a LexVera answer?

Research results can show citations and the relevant source context; document answers can point to excerpts and pages where available. Before relying on any output, a lawyer must confirm that the authority exists, supports the proposition, is current and applicable, and must consider contrary or omitted material.

How does LexVera handle matter documents and data?

Data handling should be assessed against the firm’s matter policies and the proposed use. The security overview and privacy notice provide further detail. Before introducing confidential material, confirm the permitted inputs and the requirements for access, service providers, retention, and deletion.

Does LexVera replace legal judgment?

No. LexVera assists with research, document analysis, and drafting. A qualified lawyer remains responsible for the sources and facts, the interpretation of the law, the handling of uncertainty and confidential information, and every communication to a client, counterparty, court, or regulator.

What happens when our firm requests a demo or pilot?

A demo request starts a conversation with our team. Tell us the workflow, jurisdiction, document type, and standard that matter to your firm, and we will tailor the demonstration accordingly. If a pilot is the right next step, we will agree its scope and success criteria with you.
